A new platform from Aras Kargo to facilitate e-export!

Aras Kargo has announced the launch of the new Aras Global platform, which will streamline e-exports for businesses of all sizes. The platform offers a single, convenient location for e-commerce companies and individual users to access shipping costs and delivery times from multiple logistics providers, as well as seamless integration with leading e-marketplaces.

Aras Kargo, Türkiye’s leading and innovative shipping company, has unveiled a novel service that promises to facilitate the unlocking of Türkiye’s e-export potential. The newly established Aras Global platform, created by the company, will enable e-commerce businesses of all sizes and individual users to obtain immediate shipping costs and delivery times from a range of logistics providers via a single portal. By integrating the world's leading e-marketplaces, users will be able to oversee and monitor the shipping process of their products. Aras Global infrastructure will facilitate the export of goods and the sending of parcels abroad.

Ramazan Altınay: “We bring e-commerce companies together with our logistics partners”

Ramazan Altınay, Head of International Relations, Business Development and Strategy at Aras Kargo, stated, “Aras Global unites all our logistics partners and e-commerce companies under a single umbrella, thereby providing a comprehensive solution for the management of shipping procedures across the entire network, with seamless integration. As of the present date, we have initiated the provision of services through the launch of our website, which can be accessed at arasglobalcargo.com.”

At the launch at the Worldef Istanbul 2024 e-commerce fair, he commented: “As Aras Kargo, we offer unparalleled end-to-end services to our business partners. Our uninterrupted network extends from Germany to China under the umbrella of the European logistics giant Austrian Post Office. We saw the need for a bridge that would carry e-commerce businesses from Türkiye to abroad and establish a bridge to realize Türkiye’s e-export potential. We made a significant breakthrough in our strategy to expand into international markets by establishing Aras Global last year to provide an infrastructure that would revive this potential. Today, we are here to announce that we have transformed Aras Global into a brand-new platform. Our platform, developed by our Aras Digital subsidiary, exports sectoral technology to Europe with our technological competence. We are proud to contribute to Türkiye’s breakthrough in exports in the field of e-export.”

Integrated with global e-marketplaces

Altınay shared the following information about the platform: “Our platform will streamline process management and integrate seamlessly into the systems of our corporate business partners. As Aras Global, we began our partnership with Etsy, Amazon, and eBay—the world's most popular e-marketplaces—and we're proud to say we've made a significant impact. We will rapidly increase the number of these e-marketplaces in the coming period. E-export companies and individual users sending parcels from Türkiye will manage the process by receiving instant information on shipping costs and delivery times thanks to Aras Kargo's global logistics partners FedEx, UPS, DHL, and Starex Global, as well as Aras Kargo's solutions for different destinations. The shipping process will become easier with the following advantages: creating proforma/invoice, payment by credit card, integration, and tracking of the status codes of the shipment to the relevant marketplace.”

This new service will provide affordable and sustainable shipping services to eight countries in Eastern Europe.

In 2023, Aras Kargo acquired 75 percent of the shares of Starex, Azerbaijan's leading shipping company, and commenced operations in the country under the Aras Kargo Global brand. Aras Kargo, which partners with Türkiye’s leading e-commerce platforms and carried approximately 5 million parcels to Azerbaijan last year, has set its sights on becoming the leading shipping company in Azerbaijan in the long term and investing in nearby markets such as Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and Kazakhstan with a long-term business strategy.

Ramazan Altınay also announced that in collaboration with Austrian Post Office subsidiaries in eight countries across Central and Eastern Europe, they will soon offer cost-effective and environmentally conscious shipping services for businesses engaged in B2B activities and e-exports to the region, including Slovenia, Slovakia, Croatia, Hungary, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Bulgaria, via Aras Global platform.
